We have worked with Andreas Heil on two significant hotel projects, the 165 room Carton House Hotel outside Dublin and the 140 room Morrison Hotel in Dublin city centre.

Andreas made a significant contribution to the interior design on both projects.  He is an excellent designer with significant experience of the requirements of large commercial projects.  His particular strengths include his attention to detail and his ability to expand a basic conceptual design across all the varying conditions of a typical hotel project.  In addition to his interior design and architectural skills, Andreas has good commercial awareness and can assist his clients to find cost effective solutions within the available budget while still meeting the design brief. Andreas would be a significant asset on any interiors project and we would welcome the opportunity to work with him again. We highly recommend his services.

Stephen Kilroy, Pyramids Project Management on Andreas’ role as lead designer on built-in furniture and project interior architect

Andreas was one of the lead architects working for Murray O’Laoire on the interior design and construction of the 4 Star Sheraton Hotel in Athlone.

Andreas carried out his work with great pride and professionalism and his attention to detail for architecture is second to none. He was a key member of the design team and showed great leadership and guidance to the architectural team under him.

I would have the highest regard for Andreas as an architect and would gladly work with him again in the future, if the opportunity ever arose.

Declan Murphy, Project Manager and client representative, Gallico Developments on Andreas’ role as project interior architect

Andreas Heil is an Interior Architect and a professional of the highest caliber, … Andreas has proven to be an essential, extremely talented and productive, and valuable colleague and member of staff….

…Andreas’ highly tuned design skills and intuitive ability to steer the right course through a design task, combined with an excellent technical knowledge have ensured that he was highly sought after within Murray Ó Laoire Architects.

He worked closely with me in the capacity of Project Interior Architect, from conception to completion, of the €40 million Sheraton Hotel at the Athlone Town Centre development.  The complexity of this hotel scheme in a dense urban centre context, in addition to the fast-track procurement process employed cannot be understated and tested fully his tenacity and commitment on site,  and not least his client liaison and management skills.

Michael O’Carroll, Director MOLA Architecture on Andreas’ role as 10-year employee

Just a short note to say thank you for your collaboration on the Google Freeman House project.  Working with an architect who always has all information prepared ahead of works commencing on site but is also ready to review and accommodate issues as and when they arise is an absolute pleasure…

Sarah McDonnell, StructureTone, Project Executive on Andreas’ role as project interior architect

After many years of working in countless collaborative patterns with Andreas I have found his services as courteous and perceptive as his designs are elegant and practical. In two words, he captures perfect equilibrium … but rarely without his trademark cultural twist – and always a light touch of whimsy….!
As a designer, Andreas is limitless in his creative flair and drenchingly fresh in his empathetic approach. How he can complement this with such razor-sharp attention to detail and cost-conscious efficiency is a mystery – but a very consistent one!
I would highly recommend Andreas as the the ultimate interpreter – for all your interior dreams!

George Boyle, of George Boyle Designs

Without any reservation I would recommend the MOLA team for design projects in Moscow. …In short the design was amazing given the budget we were working to, but more importantly the end deliverable is a credit to the effort that MOLA put into making sure we had a top class office delivered on time, to budget and exceeding all expectations.

… they were the finest team I have worked with, and I have quite a number of these projects under my belt, who delivered the best project for SMBC in the EMEA region.

Gary Biggerstaff, Head of European Corporate Infrastructure, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation Europe Ltd. on Andreas’ role as project interior architect

Andreas Heil was employed by Google Ireland as the project architect on the MonteVetro office fitout. During Mr. Heil’s engagement with the project we found him most professionsl and a key and pivotal member of the design team… Mr. heil was extremely collaborative and showed great leadership throughout the project. He displayed great attention to detail and vision in delivering this flag-ship fit-out to the client’s aspiration and was integral to assisting SISK Ireland in doing same.

Gary Howard, SISK Project manager on Andreas’ role as project interior architect

“Murray O’Laoire Architects were the interior designers for the Sheraton Athlone. I was the Starwood representative for this project. We are very satisfied with the interior design of the hotel and MOLA did an excellent job. The team was lead by Andreas Heil and we were impressed by the general level of professionalism and high quality of thoughtful interior design.

Major projects such as this, with multiple components are never easy and the interior designer has to juggle the needs and desires of the owner and operator, as well as a multitude of others. MOLA did this highly successfully and can be justifiably proud of producing an excellent product…”
